Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust - 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 (Active Valve, Black Chrome Tips)

The Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust system, part number 140743BC, is a 3-inch T-304 stainless steel cat-back for the 2018-2023 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8 (S550) equipped with the Active Valve Performance Exhaust, finished with dual 4-inch black chrome tips. Made by Borla.

Overview

System will fit Bullitt models. NOT recommended for use on Convertibles. This 3" diameter high flow Cat-Back system was designed specifically for the Mustang GT has Active Exhaust Valves. Includes 2) 3" O.D. x 2.25" O.D. x 7" long adapters for clamp on installation to the stock exhaust system. Do not use the adapters for full 3" inlets. The system features a Merge X-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. The system has BORLA®'S Polyphonic Exhaust Harmonizer which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound to the BORLA® mufflers. The mufflers then enhance this sound to the character and volume of the aggressive ATAK® sound, with no drone inside the vehicle. The exhaust exits thru dual 4" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler. Using BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish p# 21499 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Systems with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, and carbon fiber tips are also available.
