The application-specific brackets are CAD-designed to install using factory mounting points, with no cutting or drilling required, and a low-profile design that will not interfere with raising or lowering the hood. The brackets are thick-gauge stainless steel, so they will not corrode over time or vibrate while driving. Each SS3 pod uses a custom-engineered TIR optic that collects the light from the LED and directs it only where you need it, reducing glare and improving efficiency. This kit is built with the Combo\/Driving beam pattern, a balanced pattern with strong forward illumination and a wide field of view, shining in a smooth 80x30 degree spread. The white pods are 6000K, a true cool white that matches most factory LED lighting, and the Pro power level delivers double the total power of the Sport level. Both pods feature a brilliant amber backlight that adds an accent light alongside the main beam; power it using the included harness to tap your desired vehicle function. Stage Series LED lighting is tested to SAE standards for operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing.
